General Guidelines for Good Health

The general guidelines to good health that may be followed are
1.   Maintain regularity in your routine.
2.   Eat as much natural foods as you can.
3.   Consume seasonal foods as far as possible.
4.   Eat well but do not ‘overeat’.
5.   Avoid excessive salt and spices.
6.   Avoid too much sweets, especially sugar.
7.   Eat foods which contain carbohydrates, especially starch and fibre.
8.   Avoid foods that contain large amounts of cholesterol and saturated fats.
9.   Watch your weight and maintain ideal weight.
10.   Avoid eating the same kind of all foods all the time. Eat a variety of foods.
