Is it a good idea to have 1 specific fruit for breakfast by itself? If yes, which fruit would you recommend in terms of health benefits, blood sugar, etc.?

As a species, we have been selected to only eat fruit if we are starving. Additionally we have been selected to not eat until much later in the day. But that doesn't mean that we have to do that.

It is also true that all living things execute variations. These variations are either selected, or not selected. This is evolution. So we are free to eat what we like, animals, fruit, vegetables, wood, cars, chemical shit-storms, whatever.

I choose to eat a species appropriate diet. I'm quite a strict carnivore. I eat meat, seafood, eggs and a small amount of dairy. I haven't eaten a plant of any sort in over 4 years.

If you choose to eat fruit you should understand the trade off. Fruit does contain nutrients. But it also contains multiple anti-nutrients and phytotoxins. For example oxalates, these can be deadly. There are multiple clinical records of death from oxalate poisoning from a single meal. Many fruit and vegetables are high in oxalates - avacado, spinach and almonds to name a few. For anyone interested, a great resource for understanding oxalates is Sally Norton. Her book, Toxic Superfoods is well worth the read. And remember, this is just one of thousands of phytotoxins in all plants and we haven't even touched on how anti-nutrients work.

Human quantum biology is not very well understood, but we do know some things. Waking up and morning light trigger events in our bodies. The release of glucagon and cortisol are 2 such triggered hormones. As the glucagon to insulin ratio moves closer to 1 to 1.x our metabolism becomes more catabolic. Gluconeogenesis is also triggered and, without eating, we make glucose from our fat stores to be converted to ATP, the currency of energy in our bodies (not calories). This is why your blood sugar rises slightly in the morning, again, without eating. Cortisol rises slightly to enhance signaling in our bodies making us quicker in our responses to stimuli. Evolution selected this to best prepare us to go out and hunt for our next meal.

If you choose to eat breakfast, understand you don't need to. If you choose to eat fruit, understand you don't need to and understand all plants contain anti-nutrients and phytotoxins.

If you don't eat fat, you will die.

If you don't eat protein, you will die.

If you don't eat carbohydrates, nothing will happen.
