What are the simple ways of healthy living?

Here are my top 7 tips:

Sleep 8 hours a day.
Unless you're one of the less than 5 percent of the population genetically modified with ADRB1 or DEC2, you need 7 to 9 hours of sleep a day to energize your mind and repair your body. Make sure your bedroom is dark and quiet, then don't drink coffee in that room.

2. Moisturize yourself.

Your body needs hydration to regulate body temperature, deliver nutrients to cells, maintain bowel function, avoid headaches, and improve sleep. Carry a bottle of water whenever possible and remember to drink green tea instead of black tea (black tea can be dehydrating).

3. Sweat every day.

Sweating daily will help you flush out toxins, keep your body healthy, boost your immune system, and last but not least, daily exercise will release happy hormones (endorphins in your body). Aim for at least 20 minutes a day of any type of exercise that brings you joy and gets your blood pumping.

4. Eat local, organic produce.

Organic products do not contain pesticides (linked to cancer), artificial colors and preservatives. Locally farmed food from other continents doesn't make it to your fridge (and thus most vegetables lose half their nutritional value before they reach the store!).

You don't have to follow the latest superfood trend from the other side of the world, that is, you don't have to eat quinoa from Peru if your home country has really good pearl barley.
5.
Try intermittent fasting.
Intermittent fasting is a popular term these days, but it's nothing new in the world. Do you remember when your grandmother told you not to eat dinner after 6 pm. 12-hour fasting is also a variation of intermittent fasting. Plus, when you go to bed every night, you're already fasting. Try experimenting with different fasting times to test your body. This will help you distinguish between real hunger and emotional hunger. Did you know that most people with eating disorders can't tell the difference between anger, fear and hunger?

6. Learn new things.

Read a chapter in a book or listen to a TEDx podcast for 15 minutes a day. It will help you develop your perspective in all areas of your life and improve the quality of your life. Don't be afraid to change your mind on certain topics, it's part of evolution. 7. Spread kindness. Start with yourself. You cannot share your energy until your cup is full. Recognize your achievements.

To practice gratitude, write down 3 positive things that happen to you each day. defend yourself. If you stop being hard on yourself, you'll still get things done. When you stop being afraid of failure, you start doing more of the things you've always wanted to do.
