« on: December 17, 2022, 06:53:21 PM »
Miracle fruit is a tropical plant native to Ghana, Nigeria and Congo in West Africa. Its fruit is bright red, oval in shape and about 2 to 2.5 cm long, and weighs about 1 to 1.2 grams.

The seeds of the miracle fruit are surrounded by fleshy pulp and taste like bland cranberry.

For thousands of years, in traditional African medicine, miracle fruit has been used to treat various ailments such as diabetes, male infertility, gout, cancer and so on.

In recent years, miracle fruit has gained worldwide popularity for its potential medicinal properties.

Laboratory and animal studies have shown that miracle fruit fruit can effectively boost insulin secretion, improve insulin sensitivity, and lower blood sugar levels.

Interestingly, Miracle Fruit contains Miraculin, a special protein that temporarily makes the tongue register sour tastes as sweet tastes.

Therefore, after eating the miracle fruit, anything sour will taste sweet, such as lemons, apricots, plums, bayberry, etc., usually, this will last for 30 minutes.
