I think you can eat bananas on an empty stomach.

Bananas are fruits high in potassium and magnesium. Many people think that bananas cannot be eaten on an empty stomach because bananas are high in magnesium and potassium.

If you eat bananas on an empty stomach, magnesium and potassium levels in the blood will suddenly increase, causing an electrolyte imbalance in the body and adversely affecting the blood supply to the heart. A medium-sized banana weighs 100 grams and contains 40 mg of magnesium and 350 mg of potassium.

In general, adults need 330 mg of magnesium and 3500 mg of potassium per day. Unless you eat 10 bananas on an empty stomach, you won't get too much potassium and magnesium.
