Post by: Rasel Ali on November 11, 2022, 01:58:25 PM
Corn is recognized as the "golden crop" in the world. In developed countries such as Europe and the United States, corn has been listed as the first health food among cereals.
Cornmeal is made from dried corn or maise, which is ground into a fine, medium, or coarse texture.

Cornmeal is rich in protein, carbohydrates, fat, vitamin E, vitamin B2, lecithin, linoleic acid, minerals and other nutrients.
However, Cornmeal is not suitable for diabetics. Cornmeal has a glycemic index between 68 and 69, which is a bit high.
Corn flour contains about 78% carbohydrate, which comes from high content of starch.
Clinical experience shows that corn starch is digested very quickly in the body, which may lead to a surge in blood sugar levels.
Cornmeal is much higher in calories than rice, with 100 grams of Cornmeal containing about 360 calories. Eating too much cornmeal can easily lead to weight gain.
